SUMMER CLERKS
Because of the short duration of their stay with the firm, summer clerks are exposed to the firm's different fields of practice through an intensive mixture of work assignments. Efforts are made to give summer clerks work assignments from each department, and preferably from several attorneys within each department. In addition, summer clerks are kept notified of upcoming depositions, hearings, trials and closings so that they may receive exposure to those proceedings. A program of lunch seminars introduces summer clerks to the practicalities of the profession.
